Marissa Delsman is back for her second season on the Alverno basketball staff in 2022-23.


Delsman joins the Inferno staff after having served as the head coach of the Junior Varsity girls’ basketball team at Waukesha West High School. While there she helped create and implement practice plans, while also preparing game strategies and scouting reports. Since September of 2019, Delsman has coached with the Wisconsin Lakers AAU Basketball program.
 
Prior to her three seasons coaching at Waukesha West, Delsman coached as a varsity assistant coach at Green Bay Southwest for the 2017-18 season, and as a varsity assistant at Waukesha North High School.
 
A May 2020 graduate of the Master’s Program at Wisconsin-Whitewater, Delsman served the 2019-20 season as a basketball intern with the Warhawk program. While there she observed and assisted with game preparation, practice organization and film sessions.
 
Deslman earned her undergraduate degree at Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts in Human Development in 2018. That was preceded by her time at Wisconsin-Waukesha, where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences. While at Waukesha, Delsman was a member of the Cougars women’s basketball team.
 
Away from basketball, Delsman has served as a graduate assistant for learning communities and family programs at UW-Whitewater, while also serving as a College Access Intern at Gateway Technical College. She was also at TRIO Intern at UW-Whitewater at Rock County, where she served as an academic advisor and assisted in numerous campus events.
