Kayla Clark finished her first season as an assistant with the Alverno basketball team following the 2019-20 season.
In her only season on the sidelines with the Inferno, she helped lead the team to five wins on the year all coming in conference play. During the season, the Inferno averaged 57.3 points per game, shooting 37.9% from the field while also adding 886 rebounds, 383 assists, 160 steals and 70 blocks on the year.
Clark makes her way to Alverno after spending one season at Mount Mary University, where she was an assistant with the program. While with the Blue Angels she helped lead the team to eight victories, with one player earning All-ACAA accolades at the conclusion of the season, while four players earned Academic All-Conference honors.
A year prior Clark was the head junior varsity coach at West Bend West High School in West Bend, Wisconsin, where she led Spartans JV program.
Clark was a four-year student-athlete for fellow Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference institution as she earned her degree from Lakeland University.
She played all four seasons with the Muskies and was a four-year starter for the team. Throughout her 104-game career, she recorded 777 career points and pulled down 167 rebounds. She shot over 33% from beyond the arc, while knocking down 260 overall field goals. She picked up 340 career assists and is the program’s all-time assist leader. She has also added 141 steals, while also adding four blocks with two of those coming as a senior.
Clark played high school ball at West Bend West High School in West Bend, Wisconsin and earned first team all-conference honors as a senior.
