Chris Sosinski joined the Alverno cross country team as the assistant coach for the program beginning in the fall of 2019, and enters her second year with the program entering the fall 2020 season.
During her first season as an assistant with the program in 2019, Sosinski helped lead the team to a 12th place finish at the season-concluding NACC Conference Championship meet hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran at nearby Greenfield Park. The Inferno faced tough course conditions as the team amassed a team score of 349.
Sosinski joined the Inferno following a running career at fellow Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference institute Wisconsin Lutheran College, graduating with a degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Coaching in December of 2014.
While with the Warriors, Sosinski was a four-year student athlete on the cross country team, which included a career-best time of 23:16.8 time in a 5K race as a senior at the Tom Barry Invitational at St. Norbert College. As a junior, Sosinski tallied a career-best time in the 6K of 27:55.55 at the conference championship meet.
Currently working as an Associate Customer Success Consultant in Milwaukee, after holding a Project Coordinator title at the same organization since July of 2017. During the summer of 2016, Sosinski worked in Marketing and Public Relations as an intern.
As a student at Wisconsin Lutheran, Sosinski was involved on campus with the student senate, and was also a part of the senior class gift committee.
Following an academic career at Wisconsin Lutheran, Sosinski went on to receive her Master's Degree in Sport Science and Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
