MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 102- 59 this afternoon to the visiting Eagles of Edgewood College inside Reiman Gymnasium.
The Inferno was led by
Shiauna Nixon-Boyd who finished with 26 points and three rebounds.
Gemini Ventura added 13 points and three rebounds.
Arlaysia Braggs finished with nine points.
Kyla Jamerson contributed four points and four rebounds.
Jasmine James finished with five points.
AnaCristina Rodriguez-Ross contributed two points.
Alverno finished the contest shooting 37.9% (22-of-58) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 73.7% (14-of-19).
The team finished the contest with 27 rebounds and forced 17 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on 12 points off of turnovers.
