MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno College women's tennis team fell to MSOE, 7-0, Thursday afternoon at home. With the loss, the Inferno fall to 0-4 (0-4 NACC), while the Raiders improved to 4-3 (4-1 NACC).
The Raiders took quick doubles victories at Nos. 1 and 2 to take the point.
Morgan Golabowski and
Riley Spencer had their match against Karley Way and Gabriella Haensgen yielded a 6-4 decision at No. 1 doubles.
In singles, the Raiders took all six flights, including four in straight sets. Golabowski yielded a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Karley Way at No. 1.
Riley Spencer finished falling 6-2-, 6-1 to Stephania Gonzales at No. 2, and
Lilly Coronado and
Ivonna Gentry yielding a 6-0, 6-0 decision at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
The Inferno return to action Tuesday, September 24
th when they play host to Concordia University Chicago. First serve is scheduled for 5p.m.
