WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Alverno softball team got back on the field on Saturday afternoon at Neumann Softball Field as the Inferno took on the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors. The hosts won both contests by the scores of 10-2 and 15-1.
Dominique Tetrault reached base on a fielder's choice to shortstop with Samantha Vinit scoring the team's lone run scored on the afternoon.

Michelle Hess led the team with going two-for-two at the plate. Senior
Andrea Ramirez finished the contest going one-for-two.
Jocilyn Janeway pitched four innings in the opener and was unable to record a strikeout against the Wisconsin Lutheran offense.
Nevaeh Cruz pitched the three innings of the second game of the day and struck out a pair.
Alverno (3-15, 1-11 NACC) will be back in action tomorrow afternoon, as the Inferno will play a make-up doubleheader with the Concordia University Chicago on the Alverno Softball Field beginning at 12 p.m. on April 14.
