SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 63- 55 to Stevenson this evening in the second round of the Puerto Rico College Sports Tours Classic.
 
The Inferno was led by Gemini Ventura finished with 16 points and four rebounds. Arlaysia Braggs contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. Shiauna Nixon-Boyd added 10 points and eight rebounds. Kyla Jamerson finished with five points. Riley Spencer, Jasmine James and AnaCristina Rodriguez-Ross all rounding out the scoring with three points each.
 
Alverno finished the contest shooting 27.9% (17-of-61) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 66.7% (18-of-27).
 
The team finished the contest with 32 rebounds and forced 18 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on 10 points off of turnovers.

 The Inferno will face the University of Scared Heart on Friday, December 20^th. Tipoff is slated for 8:00 a.m. (CST).
