Box Score MEQUON, Wis.- The Alverno College women's basketball fell on the road to Concordia University Wisconsin by a final score of 65-47 in their second to last game of the 2022-23 season on Wednesday evening in R. John Bucck Field House. With the loss, the Inferno drop to 3-20 (1-16 NACCC). Concordia University Wisconsin moves to 14-10 (13-4 NACC).
Mya Roberts led Alverno with 12 points and three rebounds. Camiria Sardin finished with a double-double performance with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the conference contest. Kyla Jamerson secured nine points. Sardin had a game high six blocks for the Inferno. Concordia Wisconsin was led by Emily Hafemann who had 15 points. Aubrey Buchholtz contributed with 14 points.
Alverno was down 32-25 at the end of the first half. However, the Inferno got cold shooting in the second half as they were outscored 32-16. The Falcons outrebounded the Inferno 40-34. Alverno shot 30.5 percent from the field.
Alverno College will next travel to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to close out the regular season with a NACC matchup against Marian University on Saturday, Feb. 18 for a 7 p.m.
