Box Score RIVER FOREST, Ill.- The Alverno Inferno Basketball team was on the road again as they took on the Cougars on Concordia University-Chicago. Although the team was without lead scorer, Laila Alaramahi, The Inferno saw high scoring from
Dionna Woodson and
Victoria Parra. However, despite the strong performance from Woodson and Parra, the Cougars held out the win with a 72-51 victory.

Woodson and Parra both led the Inferno as they hit double digits in points. Woodson totaled 15 points in her team leading 30 minutes of play, while Parra, the Inferno's lone senior, trailed behind with 10 points in her 26 minutes of play. Woodson, in only her second game for the Inferno, finds herself sitting fourth on the team in points scored (23) behind
Kyla Jamerson and
Morgan Whitten (33),
Riley Spencer (48) and
Laila Alramahi (55).

Behind the offensive duo of Parra and Woodson,
Riley Spencer stays consistent as she adds 7 points to the Inferno's total points scored and amassed 3 rebounds on the night.
Morgan Whitten also added 6 points for the Inferno, 4 points in which came from her 100% free throw percentage, going 4-4 from the line.

The defense was led by sophomore
Kyla Jamerson with 9 rebounds as she also scored 5 points for the Inferno.
Madalyn Kavalary and
Haley Youngblood both finished the night with 5 rebounds a piece.

The Inferno wrap up their three road game stretch as they head into two back to back home games this upcoming week. Alverno will be back in Reiman Gymnasium as they take on Lawrence University on Tuesday, December 12th at 7pm CST.
