MILWAUKEE – The Alverno soccer team celebrated 'senior day' on Saturday afternoon November 18
th during the basketball game against UM-Superior.
During halftime of the contest, Alverno celebrated the careers of seniors
Georgia Wise and
Victoria Parra in a center celebration with Head Coach Corey Thompson and Director of Athletics Katari Key.
Georgia Wise is from Kingman, Arizona. Wise is a Biomedical major. Georgia is a defender for the Inferno and has participated in the soccer program for the last three years where she has played in 30 total games. Wise has recorded 675 goalie minutes played with 108 total saves. She was escorted by her mother Kalleen and sister
Lylah Wise. After graduation Wise plans on attending medical college.
Victoria Parra is an El Paso, Texas native. Parra is an English and Education major. Victoria is a defender for the Inferno. She was escorted by assistant basketball coach Dominique Hudson. After graduation Victoria plans to go back to Texas and obtain a master's in education and teach at the secondary level.
