MILWAUKEE – The Alverno Soccer team returned home after a road match, as the Inferno played host to the St. Norbert Green Knights on Wednesday afternoon on the Alverno Soccer Field, falling by a 6-0 score.
The Inferno was also credited with 10 shots by
Alianna Herrera,
Mamah Konneh and
Haley Youngblood.
Eight Inferno also played the full 90 minutes, as senior
Georgia Wise played the full slate along with
Alianna Herrera,
Ashley Gutierrez-Diaz,
Haley Youngblood,
Mamah Konneh,
Elianna Reyes,
Lylah Wise, and
Emily Anguiano. Goalkeeper
Emily Anguiano had 25 saves in the contest and only allowed six goals.
Alverno will next host Aurora University on Saturday, October 7
th at the Alverno Soccer Field. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
