MILWAUKEE -- Alverno College returns to action with a pair of nonconference games this weekend for its final tune-up before the remainder of Northern Athletics Conference play on its schedule.

The Inferno (5-5) hosts Trinity Christian College of Palos Heights, Ill., tonight at 6 p.m. and then hosts the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Additionally, Alverno will play host as the two visitors square-off on Saturday at 3 p.m. in a neutral site contest in Reiman Gymnasium.

The Trolls enter tonight's affair with a 2-13 record, their last win was a 60-58 victory over Trinity International University back on Nov. 14. Since that time, the Trolls have lost nine straight.

Tonight will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

The Yellowjackets are currently 8-2 overall, have won four-straight games and are off to their best start since the 1980-81 season. Taking notice nationally, the Yellowjackets are receiving votes in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

Sunday will be the third all-time meeting between the Inferno and Yellowjackets with the series tied 1-1.
