Alverno Softball Field
The Alverno Softball Field serves as the home venue for all Inferno softball home contests and has a strong history of hosting championship-level competition. From 2009 through 2018, the facility proudly hosted the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Softball Tournament on an annual basis.
Built in 2006 as part of a campus beautification project, the softball field offers a welcoming atmosphere for both student-athletes and spectators. The venue features a large set of bleachers and a fully operational scoreboard to enhance the game-day experience. In the Fall of 2025, the field was given a major facelift, with maintenance done to the infield and outfield as each was replanted. A new batting cage was also installed, featuring brand new netting and turf surfacing.Â
An adjacent field house supports game operations and fan amenities, including a concession stand, restrooms, a press box, and storage space. The press box provides an excellent space for media and operations staff, shielding from the elements and providing a strong view of the action.Â
