Alverno College soccer student-athlete Andrea Binkley has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events of Oct. 3-9.

The senior from Hinckley, Ill. scored a goal and collected five shots for a total of two points against Mount Mary University. Binkley scored on a ball that hit the upper far corner of the net, just out of the reach of the keeper. The goal scored by Binkley tied the match at that point. 

The Inferno are back in action Wednesday, Oct. 11 when they face Benedictine University at 3 p.m.
