Alverno College

Alverno College student-athlete Ashlie Rossi has been named Alverno Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of March 19-25.

The native from Hammond, Ind. went three for three at the plate of game one against Mount Mary recording three hits and one RBI. During game two, Rossi collected a double and two RBI (s) while striking out nine batters and only allowing one run through five innings as Alverno collected the victory over Mount Mary 11-2. 

Alverno College hit the road to start the week as they travel to Lawrence on Wed, March 28 for a non-conference doubleheader with game one set to start at 3 p.m.
