Alverno College

For the second time this season, Alverno College basketball student-athlete Mackenzie Mathies has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events of Jan. 1-7.

The Weston, Wis. native scored digit figures in games against Edgewood and Concordia Wisconsin. Mathies nearly missed a double-double against Edgewood tallying 15 points and nine rebounds. The junior then recorded 13 points against Concordia Wisconsin. 

Alverno College returns to action as the travel to Aurora University on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
