Alverno College basketball student-athlete Dani Hood has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events of Dec. 26-31.

The Racine, Wis. native tallied a season-high 10 points against Rockford University on Dec. 30. The junior also collected five steals and seven assists with no turnovers during the contest. Hood also grabbed four rebounds for the Inferno effort. 

Alverno College kicks off the new year with NACC action against Edgewood College Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m.
