Visiting University of Wisconsin-Superior scored a goal off a corner kick in the 82nd minute to pull ahead of host Alverno College, and held on for the 2-1 nonconference victory this afternoon at Alverno Field.

Stef Wilmore Softball
Alverno College softball student-athlete Stef Wilmore has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events of April 29-May 5.
Wilmore (Elkhart, Ind./Central) hit 7-for-12 in the final four games of her career to maintain the highest batting average in the Northern Athletics Conference. She belted a three-run homer and scored twice in a nonconference game against Stritch on Monday, as she totaled five RBIs and five runs scored on the week.
Defensively the senior catcher was perfect in 29 chances and threw out three runners attempting to steal for the Inferno, who set the school record for wins (18) and had the first .500-season in program history.
