MEQUON, Wis. -- The opening 10 minutes of the game was the difference in a 79-62 loss to host Concordia University Wisconsin, as Alverno College was officially eliminated from contention of making the 2012 Northern Athletics Conference Tournament tonight at Buuck Field House.
The Inferno was outscored 19-2 to begin the game, as an Alyssa Jensen (Cudahy, Wis.) finally put the visitors on the board with a jumper at the 11:07 mark. Alverno shot a dismal 0-for-11 before Jensen's basket ended the scoring drought.

MILWAUKEE -- Alverno College and Wisconsin Lutheran College were tied 31-31 at halftime, but the Inferno was outscored by 21 points in the second half for the 68-47 loss to the visiting Warriors.
