MILWAUKEE -- The Alverno College women’s volleyball team struggled through its Northern Athletics Conference match with a hard-hitting Lakeland College squad, falling 3-0 on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at home in Milwaukee, Wis.

The Inferno (2-20, 0-8 NAC) posted their high for match points in the third set with a 25-13 defeat to improve from heavier losses in the opening sets of the match that resulted in 25-7 and 25-10 losses in the first two sets, respectively.

MILWAUKEE -- The Alverno College women’s volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21) Northern Athletics Conference match loss to Rockford College on Saturday, Oct. 11, at home in Milwaukee, Wis.

The Inferno (2-18, 0-6 NAC) built a 15-11 lead in the third set thanks to a few solid defensive plays that capitalized on mistakes by Rockford (6-11, 4-3 NAC). However, the Regents mounted a five-point serving run to regain the lead and eventually clinch the 25-21 victory to close out the match.

MILWAUKEE -- The Alverno College women's volleyball team lost a Northern Athletics Conference match to MSOE tonight, 3-0, at the Kern Center in Milwaukee.

Rebecca Schmid (Tigerton, Wis.) led the Inferno (2-18, 0-6 NAC) with nine kills on the offensive end, while Ashley Graham (Cudahy, Wis.) and Robyn Rosenthal (Waterford, Wis.) led the defensive end with seven digs each.

MILWAUKEE (10/06/2008) -- The Alverno College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday, Oct 4, falling to host Wisconsin Lutheran College, 3-0, and then to Finlandia University, 3-1.
