MILWAUKEE -- Volleyball student-athlete Reagan Owen (Salina, Kan./Central) has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events that took place from October 24-30.
The junior libero tallied 88 digs in four matches, including her second 30+ performance of the season, with 35 in a 3-1 victory at Mt. Mary on Friday, snapping the Inferno's 14-match losing streak.
She nearly had another with 28 digs in a close 3-1 loss (25-15, 28-26, 23-25, 25-23) to Lake Forest on Saturday in the team's final match of 2011.
