GoskaMILWAUKEE -- Tricia Goska (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Lincoln) was selected as the Alverno representative on the 2011 Northern Athletics Conference Women's Tennis All-Sportsmanship Team.

"Tricia truly earned the honor of being a part of the NAC All-Sportsmanship team," Alverno head coach Erin Felber said. "She always has a positive attitude and a good work ethic, despite whether or not she won or lost."

Goska (2-12 singles, 2-11 doubles), a 5-4 junior, played nearly every match at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles spots for the Inferno (4-10, 4-7 NAC) this season.

"Tricia led the team not only on the court, but also off the court as co-captain," Felber said. "She was always the one on the team pushing her teammates to work hard and give 110% in every practice and match. Tricia has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us next season."

The NAC All-Sportsmanship included one member from each school that was chosen based on the principles of sportsmanship as promoted by the NAC and NCAA.
