Megan Krueger returns to the role of assistant coach for the Alverno cross country team in the fall of 2018 following a three-year term as the team’s head coach from 2015-17.

This is Krueger’s second stint as the team’s assistant coach, following her initial run with the team from 2013 to 2014.

During her three seasons as the head coach of the Inferno, Krueger led the team to back-to-back 11th place finishes at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships, following a 10th place finish in her first season as head coach in 2015.

Prior to her role as head coach Krueger helped the team to back-to-back 10th place finishes as the conference championship during her first two years as an assistant coach.

Krueger is received her undergraduate degree from Alverno in Environmental Science, and later went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Community Development from Alverno. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Leadership, Learning and Service in Higher Education while at Alverno.

A longtime member of the Alverno College family, Krueger has been a Biology Lab Instructor at the college since the fall of 2008, and a Biology Lab Manager since the fall of 2015. She also is an Instructor and Coordinator with the Girls’ Academy at Alverno.

 Krueger lives locally in the Greater Milwaukee Area.
