Cross Country Announces Schedule for Fall of 2018

2018 Alverno Cross Country Schedule

MILWAUKEE – The 2018 Alverno College Cross Country schedule has been announced, featuring six scheduled meets including the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships in late October.

Last year's team finished in 11th position at the NACC Championships, and with a majority of its roster returning for the 2018 season the team will look to improve upon last years finish.

For the third consecutive season the Alverno slate will begin at the Tom Barry Invitational in De Pere, Wisconsin, hosted by St. Norbert on September 1. The following week will see the team travel to conference foe Concordia Wisconsin on September 8 to take part in the Ken Weidt Cross Country Classic.

After a weekend off the team resumes competition locally at the Lucian Rosa Invitational, hosted by UW-Parkside on September 22. The month will come to a close a week later, when the team will take part in Wisconsin Lutheran's Warrior Invitational on September 29.

Following another weekend off to start the month of October, racing continues at the Private College Championships, which will be hosted by Ripon on Saturday, October 13.

The season will come to a close with the NACC Championships, which will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October27 and be hosted by Aurora at Oakhurst Forest Preserve
