Dan Dresen returns for his fourth season as the assistant volleyball coach in the fall of 2018.
In 2017 he helped lead the team to six victories before the season concluded with Jessica Wewers earning All-NACC Honorable Mention accolades. The six wins in 2017 doubled the previous season in 2016, which was preceded by a seven-win campaign in 2015.
In addition to his role with the Alverno volleyball program, Dresen is also the head coach for the Inferno golf program.
Since August of 2010 Dresen has been the director of the Wisconsin Juniors Volleyball Club based out of Pleasant Prarie, Wisconsin and served as the boys club director from 2012 through 2016.
From August of 2013 through March of 2017, Dresen served as the boy’s varsity volleyball coach at Union Grove High School in Union Grove, Wisconsin, a program that he was responsible for starting. He was responsible for organizing all aspects under IWAA rules and regulations.
Dresen gradulated from Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, before adding his Postgraduate Degree in Business Management at Durham University in Durham, England.
As a student-athlete, Dresen was a vital part of the Quincy volleyball program and is currently fourth in program history in assists with 1,834, with over 1,000 of those assists coming as a senior.
Dresen resides in Racine, Wisconsin.
