MILWAUKEE -- Host Alverno College couldn't get the offensive attack going and lost a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match to Concordia University Wisconsin, 3-0, Friday night in Reiman Gymnasium.

The Inferno (9-15, 0-8 NACC) had 20 attack errors on the night, matching its 20 kills, on 86 attempts. The hosts' .000 attack percentage was their second-lowest of the season, better only than their -.082 mark back on September 3 versus Illinois Institute of Technology.

Meanwhile the Falcons (19-5, 8-1 NACC) had their third-best attack percentage of the season, .371, with 44 kills and 11 errors on 89 attempts. Concordia Wisconsin won by scores of 25-10, 25-12 and 25-14 to clinch a spot in the NACC tournament.

Jessica Wewers had five kills to lead the Inferno and added a pair of blocks. Alverno tallied 6.0 team blocks on the night led by Melissa Weyand's three stops, including one solo.

Danielle Schilawski had 11 digs and tied with Concordia Wisconsin's Erin Howard for match-high honors. Schilawski has recorded double-digit digs in the last four matches, and seven of the past eight contests.

Alverno heads crosstown to face host Wisconsin Lutheran College Saturday at 12 p.m.
