The Inferno dropped to 3-17 overall and 0-8 in Northern Athletics Conference play, while the Warriors improved to an even 11-11, 4-4 in league play.

The Inferno outhit the Warriors in the final set -- .229 to .148 -- but it wasn't enough to pull out the win.

Alverno takes a break from league play as it hosts Mount Mary College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a nonconference tilt.
