Offense Shines in NACC Sweep

MILWAUKEE, WIS.—Alverno College softball (11-7, 3-1 NACC) swept Rockford University in NACC action on Monday afternoon by final scores of 10-0 and 8-0. The Inferno collected 25 total hits with three home runs recorded. Senior Olivia Schneider tallied her 300th career strikeout in game one while Ashlie Rossi recorded the complete game shutout for game two.

  • 1st Inning: Lauren Greif started the Inferno scoring with a double that scored Ashlie Rossi.
  • 1st Inning: Kaitlynn Johnson hit a double that added two more runs to the Inferno effort.

  • 1st Inning: Alverno College tallied back-to-back home runs as Ashlie Rossi sent one over the wall to double the Inferno scoring to 2-0.
