APPLETON, WIS.—Alverno College softball (8-6, 0,0 NACC) picked up their fifth straight victory as the Inferno swept Lawrence University in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon. The Inferno rallied in game one to take the lead in the final inning. The Inferno defense shut down the Viking offense as senior Ashlie Rossi only allowed one earned run in game two.

  • 3rd Inning: A Vikings throwing error allowed the Inferno to tie the game at 2.
  • 6th Inning: Ashlie Rossi singled to left field to give the Inferno their first lead of the game at 3-2.
  • 6th Inning: Another Vikings error doubled the Inferno advantage to 4-2.
