MILWAUKEE, WIS.--After a non-conference sweep of Mount Mary, Alverno College softball (6-6, 0-0 NACC) continue non-conference play with a doubleheader with Lawrence on Wed, March 26 at 3 p.m. The Inferno then gear up for conference play as they open with a doubleheader against Concordia Wisconsin from Mequon, Wis. on Thursday, March 29 at 3 p.m. Alverno College finish the week traveling to Madison, Wis. to continue NACC play on Saturday, March 31 with game one set to start at 12 p.m.

MILWAUKEE, WIS. The Alverno College softball team (6-6, 0-0 NACC) swept Mount Mary in non-conference action Friday afternoon by final scores of 8-0 and 11-2. Senior pitcher Olivia Schneiderpitched five scoreless innings only allowing one hit while striking out nine of the 16 batters faced. The Inferno bats stayed hot in game two as Lauren Greif hit a two-run home run to add to the Alverno scoring. Alverno College collected a total of 18 strikeouts between pitchers Olivia Schneider and Ashlie Rossi. The Inferno also tallied 21 total hits for both games.
