MILWAUKEE -- Soccer student-athlete Rachel Krueger (Port Washington, Wis.) has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events that took place from October 3-9.
The sophomore forward tallied five goals, including two first-goal game winners, as the Inferno went 2-1 last week. She recorded her first-career hat trick with four goals in a nonconference victory on Thursday.
The Inferno (5-10, 1-5 Northern Athletics Conference) travel to take on five-time defending NAC champion Aurora on Wednesday afternoon.
