MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its all-conference team and major award winners on Friday for the 2026 softball season, and two Alverno softball players earned Honorable Mention honors. Senior Giselle Moreno (Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) earned all-conference honors for the third time in her career, and sophomore Nadya Hudson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa East) earned her first career all-conference honors in her first season with the Inferno. Moreno is only the second player in program history to earn all-conference honors at least three times, joining Hall of Famer Stef Wilmore, who was an all-conference selection all four years of her illustrious career. MILWAUKEE, Wis. – On Thursday, May 7, Alverno Athletics hosted its annual Awards Ceremony, "The Blazys", in the conference center on the campus of Alverno College. The evening began with welcoming remarks from first-year Director of Athletics Antonio Rivas and Alverno College President Christy L. Brown, JD, as well as an invocation from Alverno College Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gina M. Rosetti.
