After five games in 12 days, Alverno has just one contest in nine days as the team takes its two-game winning streak on the road Wednesday at Concordia University Chicago. The Inferno (6-9, 6-4 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference) topped Rockford University, 63-61, last Wednesday and then beat Edgewood College, 68-44, Saturday for the fourth win in the last six games.

The Cougars (9-5, 6-4 NACC) are riding a four-game winning streak into Wednesday after an 81-75 double-overtime defeat of Milwaukee School of Engineering Saturday. CUC leads the league in scoring with 71.1 points per game along with the top marks from long range with 8.1 3-point makes, 26.0 3-point attempts and a 31.3 3-point percentage.

Concordia Chicago leads the all-time series 17-9, but Alverno has won the last two meetings including a 58-55 victory this November.
