After two straight victories, the Inferno have lost their last two for a 4-9 record (4-4 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference). Alverno welcomes Rockford to Reiman Gymnasium Wednesday before hitting the road for a game in Madison at Edgewood Saturday.

The Regents (5-8, 3-5 NACC) are coming off a 63-55 win at Edgewood Saturday which snapped a two-game skid. Rockford leads the league in both free throws made (16.1) and attempted (23.6) per game with a 68.1 free-throw percentage.

The Inferno has won the last two meetings against the Regents and five of the last six, yet is 7-9 in the all-time series.

The Eagles (0-13, 0-8) are still seeking their first win. Their eight-point loss to Rockford was their closest game of the season and will play at Marian University Wednesday night before Saturday's contests against the Inferno.

Including the 82-51 New Year's Eve victory over Edgewood, Alverno has won the last three meetings, but the Eagles lead 16-9 in the all-time series.
