Inferno Soccer
Alverno (5-8, 1-7 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference) looks to snap its current seven-game skid as it finishes the second half of its current four-game road swing with a pair of matches this week.

The Inferno travels to Benedictine for a Wednesday night contest before a nonconference game at Illinois Tech Saturday afternoon, the final road game of the season.

The Eagles (5-6-3, 3-2-2 NACC) currently sit in fifth place in the NACC standings and are looking to clinch a tournament spot with three games left. Benedictine's 3-1 loss to MSOE Saturday snapped a four-game unbeaten streak.

The Scarlet Hawks (4-10-1) have dropped their last three games, including a 2-0 recent decision to Concordia Chicago. Tech has faced four NACC foes this season and is 1-3 against the league, a 3-2 overtime victory over Lakeland marks the lone win.

Alverno trails the Eagles, 8-2, in the all-time series and is 0-3 against the Scarlet Hawks.

Both opponents will provide live video and live stats with links available on athletics.alverno.edu.

Inferno Volleyball
A busy three-match week will conclude Alverno's season. The Inferno (3-22, 1-7 NACC) will look to end the current eight-match skid with a pair of home matches -- Senior Night versus Marian Tuesday and then Dominican Saturday -- and a road contest at Concordia Wisconsin Friday.

The Sabres (5-19, 3-5) are 1-7 over their last eight. A 3-0 sweep of Rockford Friday ended a six-match losing streak.

The Falcons (17-6, 8-0) have won four straight and have their sights on a NACC title and the top seed in the conference tournament.

The Stars (8-16, 6-2) are tied for third and are looking to secure a NACC Tournament berth. Dominican had a three-match win streak end Saturday at CUW, a 3-2 final.

Alverno trails in all three all-time series, 0-16 to Marian, 1-16 to Dominican and 0-19 to Concordia Wisconsin.
