After two weeks since the last meet, the Alverno cross country team should be well rested heading into the 2016 Wisconsin Private College Championships Saturday at Dannehl National Cross Country Course outside of Kenosha.

The Inferno hosted the WPC Championships last season and finished 13th of 15 teams on the home course.

Inferno Soccer
Alverno (5-6, 1-5 NACC) has lost five straight games to conference opponents. The Inferno looks to break the streak with a pair of road games this week at both of the Concordias -- Concordia Wisconsin on Tuesday and Concordia Chicago on Sunday.

The Falcons have had a rough go of defending their 2015 NACC title with a 1-9-1 record (1-3-1 NACC) at the midway point of the season. CUW's lone victory was a 4-0 versus at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

The Cougars (8-4-1, 4-2) have won their past three games and currently sit in a tied for third place in the standings.

Alverno trails both all-time series, 0-14 to Concordia Wisconsin and 1-10-1 to Concordia Chicago.

Live video and live stats will be available for both games with links available on athletics.alverno.edu.

Inferno Volleyball
Alverno (3-20, 1-5 NACC) is on a tough stretch of six consecutive losses but will look to right the ship with a pair of league matches this weekend.

The Inferno hosts MSOE Friday evening before a Saturday afternoon match across town at Wisconsin Lutheran.

The Raiders (2-13, 1-5) have lost their last two after a 3-1 win against Concordia Chicago while the Warriors (9-13, 1-5) have three straight losses after beating Marian, 3-2.

Alverno trails both all-time series, 1-19 to MSOE and 0-21 to WLC.
