Inferno Cross Country
After a fourth-place finish at the Sabercats Invitational last week, the Alverno runners compete in their fourth event of the season at Wisconsin Lutheran's Warrior Invite this Saturday at Greenfield Park.

Inferno Golf
Alverno fired off the best round in school history in the team's final regular-season meet last Friday. The squad will look to build on that momentum at the season-ending NACC Championship this weekend in Bristol.

Inferno Soccer
Alverno (1-6, 0-2 NACC) looks to snap its current four-game skid in a pair of league games this week.

The Inferno heads to Madison for a matchup with Edgewood (2-5, 0-2) Wednesday night, and then hosts MSOE (5-4, 1-2) Saturday afternoon in the Red Rivalry Game at Alverno Field.

Alverno has yet to defeat either of this week's opponents in the all-time series.

Both contests will be broadcast live with links available on

Inferno Softball
The softball team hosts Rockford in the team's fall exhibition games this weekend. The teams split last season's series with the Regents taking the opener 5-2, and the Inferno winning the nightcap 9-2.

Inferno Tennis
Alverno (5-4, 3-3), coming off a 6-3 nonconference win over Ripon College, plays its five remaining home duals of the fall season this week.

The Inferno will likely need to win three, if not all four NACC duals, to secure a spot in the conference tournament. Three of this week's opponents, MSOE (4-8, 4-3), Marian (5-6, 4-4) and Wisconsin Lutheran (7-2, 5-1), are also vying for one of the four remaining tourney spots. Lakeland (0-8, 0-8) is still searching for its first win of the season, while Westminster opens its fall season this Friday at Marian.

All time, Alverno is 3-3 against both MSOE and Lakeland, 1-5 versus Marian, 2-4 against Wisconsin Lutheran and 0-1 versus Westminster.

Inferno Volleyball
Alverno (6-11, 0-3) is coming off a 2-2 weekend at the Finlandia Invitational Tournament last weekend, and is 4-3 in the team's last seven matches.

The Inferno begins a four-match homestand with three this week. Maranatha (10-5) visits Tuesday for a nonconference rematch as the Sabercats topped Alverno 3-0 up at Finlandia, while Edgewood (9-7, 2-0) and Lakeland (8-11, 2-0) enter Reiman Gymnasium for back-to-back NACC contests Friday and Saturday.

In the all-time series, Alverno trails Maranatha (18-0), Edgewood (19-0) and Lakeland (16-1).

All three matches will be broadcast live on
