MILWAUKEE -- Basketball student-athlete Hannah Galstad (Holmen, Wis.) has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events that took place January 2-8.
The senior guard/forward led the Inferno with 14 points on 7-of-14 shooting in a 49-38 victory over Concordia University Chicago in the team's only game of the week.
She added game-highs of seven rebounds and four steals in the low-scoring defensive affair. Her seven rebounds also tied her career high, which she has done four times in her career.
Alverno (5-8, 2-5 Northern Athletics Conference) returns to action on Tuesday night at Edgewood College in Madison, Wis. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
